Truth is, we inherit silence, don’t we? I guess I missed the legacy. I always speak. Not only with words, but with text, with images, with video, with performative actions, with other people. But I did inherit my dowry when they married me with the female gender. And along with it, I inherited the patriarchy, the capitalism, the class, the culture and all that silence of the oppressed that I can always hear. You see, the power given by hierarchies annoys me so much. The power of money, the power of the cis, white straight man, the power of language. And all those stereotypes that are created around them. And all that impact on our bodies. And minds. Who do you think you would be if there were no stereotypes to fit in? Do you think you can let your guard down and listen? I’d like you to. Do you think you could even come with us? And maybe participate in our attempts to be freer? If that is possible. In exchange, I can tell you a story of mine. But I’ll tell it in Greek. I’m sure you’ll understand.
